Health & Safety

We understand the importance of health and safety onsite, making sure everything is in place to keep the standards as high as possible

  • We have a 5* food hygiene rating from Cherwell District Council

  • NCASS Level 2 or Level 3 (or similar) food safety training is required for all staff

  • Taiga Burger Kitchen has a bespoke Event Health & Safety package - including risk assessments and HACCP

  • All of our equipment is professionally maintained, all of our gas and electrical equipment is certified with registered engineers

  • All fire extinguishers certificates are up to date, and fire blankets are regularly checked


SUSTAINABILITY

TAIGA BURGER IS COMMITTED TO HELPING OUT WHENEVER WE CAN WITH OUR IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT

  • All of our packaging and utensils are fully compostable (EN 13432 certification)

  • We locally source ingredients and stock as often as possible

  • Using recycling bins where provided

  • We sell cans (including water) instead of plastic bottles wherever this is possible

  • We maintain all of our kit, this means we do not have to replace it every year

  • All staff are trained to effectively manage our usage of gas, electric and water while on-site

  • We recycle all of our used cooking oil
